Wilderness First Aid - WFA

Benefits:
-
Learn how to treat common injuries effectively in wilderness settings
-
Reduce your risk of injury by learning how to safely recreate outdoors
-
Become a more confident camper and hiker Requirements: You must be at least 15 years old and be able to carry out all tasks on your own. There are also prerequisites such as WFA 1 or equivalent certification by another organization or emergency medical technician training
Wilderness Advanced First Aid - WAFA
Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) is a two-day course that teaches advanced first aid skills for wilderness environments. It includes a 16-hour classroom session and an 8-hour field session, where students practice the skills they have learned. The certificate can be used to fulfill the requirements for many jobs requiring basic first aid training, such as kayaking guides or camp counselors.
Wilderness First Responder - WFR

Find the right training certificate for you and give us a call!
There are many different training certificates that you can get, and each one is designed to help you reach your goals.
For example, if you want to become a chef, then a certificate in culinary arts is the right choice for you. If instead of being a chef, what intrigues you most is baking cupcakes and selling them at an upcoming bake sale fundraiser for your local high school baseball team (which sounds like an amazing idea), then perhaps a certificate in baking would be better suited to your needs.
Either way, we'll help you find the right training certificate for your needs! Give us call today and let's talk about how we can make this work for both of us!
Conclusion
The fact of the matter is this: there are only so many hours in a day. And if your time is limited, you’ll want to spend it wisely on activities that can actually provide value for you and those around you. Getting Lost Training is proud of what we do and we're confident that our courses will help take your outdoor adventure to the next level—no matter if you're looking to become a Wilderness First Responder or just explore some new territory with your friends.
